My Helsinki –exhibition
Students from the university of art and design Helsinki planned and built an exhibition about Helsinki to the Embassy of Finland in Washington D.C. Planning of the
exhibition started in January 20009 and it was exhibited during May 2009.
"Over 8000 people visited the MyHelsinki exhibition in May 2009. The exhibition transformed the Embassy's public premises into a holistic Helsinki experience where the
visitor could touch, feel and taste the City of Helsinki. The exhibition provided Washingtonians with a chance to experience Helsinki: the characteristic atmosphere
and unique sensation of downshifted time. The exhibition was based on the stories and experiences of the 12 guests who travelled to Helsinki."

20 + 1 Years Of The Tozan Kilns
An International Woodfire Conference
October 1st - October 14th 2006
I and three other students from the Ceramics and Glass department travelled to Flagstaff, USA. We studied the
beauty of woodfired kilns first-hand and listened to various panel discussions on the subject. After the trip
we had two exhibitions of the pieces from the woodfire kilns and some slideshows from the trip. Our dream
is to build a woodfire kiln for our school.
